LPI’s Wyckoff to share expertise on housing development at Illinois Conference in March

The Illinois Housing Council and Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) are co-hosting the 2017 Illinois Governor’s Conference on Affordable Housing Mar. 13-14, 2017, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago, IL. This one-and-a-half day’s event will offer networking opportunities, engaging sessions and the latest outlook from experts in affordable housing.
On Tuesday, March 14, 2017, from 9-10:30 a.m., the Land Policy Institute’s senior associate director Mark Wyckoff, will participate in the panel session on Current Trends for Housing and How to Plan for Them. Every community leader wishes they had a crystal ball to plan so their community can remain attractive for years to come to new generations of residents. During this session, panelists will discuss the findings of their research on current trends in homeownership and rental housing, and how community leaders can plan for housing development and redevelopment in urban and suburban areas that fits the needs of each generation. - Kevin Jackson, Chicago Rehab Network;
